Olympia Oyster Bar is a neighborhood dedicated Oyster and Wine bar serving small seasonal seafood plates and unique oyster preparations. Each dish is inspired by Chef Maylin's Mexican heritage and the global flavors of Japan and the Mediterranean.
Olympia’s menu sets out to feature the honest beauty of seafood without over-manipulating it or masking its flavors. The result is a voyage into vibrant colors, fragrant spices, fresh and crisp flavor combinations. Not your typical oyster bar!
6 Things to know about OOB
Casual and convivial dinning. Most of the restaurant’s seating is high bar stools, located at the oyster well or at communal tables. We have a limited number or seats with backs and lower chairs to accommodate small children or wheelchair access. Please give us a call to reserve these seats.
Small shared plates. Order family-style and share. Seafood is meant for sharing! Our menu and kitchen are set up to accommodate family-style dining. We politely decline individual coursing.
We shuck our oysters the traditional way. Each oyster is still connected to its bottom allowing it to retain its juices and natural textures. Remove it with your oyster fork and slurp away! This allows for the best oyster experience. Want to learn how? Just ask us and we would love to show you how.
We serve our oysters on the half shell with fresh limes and pickled serrano chiles in brine in honor of our Chef Maylin’s Mexican heritage. We feel these accoutrements embody freshness and resonate with an oyster’s natural flavor. We avoid condiments that overpower or mask seafood’s natural deliciousness.
We politely decline more than three cards per party. An 18% gratuity is added to parties of six or more.
We can accommodate large parties. Give us a call or shoot us an email so we can work with you to provide the best experience for your party.
